МВА/ЕМВА/DBA Programs Esil University

1.Admission to the MBA/EMBA program takes place three times a year - in the fall, winter, and spring.

2.Admission to the DBA program takes place twice a year, with enrollment in September and January.

3. Program eligibility requirements:

⇒  MBA - work experience of at least two (2) years (the Admissions Committee reserves the right to consider exceptional candidates with at least one (1) year of work experience), with the mandatory provision of a disclosed resume describing the education received and work experience;

⇒   EMBA- at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position (the Admissions Committee reserves the right to consider exceptional candidates with at least 2 (two) years of experience), with the mandatory provision of a disclosed resume describing the education received and work experience;

⇒   DВА:  Master's/MBA/Candidate Degree, 5 years of experience, 2 of them in a managerial position.

1. Applicants for the MBA/EMBA/DBA programs submit the following documents to the University Admissions Committee:

- Application to the Rector;

- A copy of the higher education document with a notarized attachment;

- Personnel record sheet and a copy of the employment record book (if available);

- Autobiography;

- Letter of recommendation;

- Two photos of size 3x4;

- Medical certificate of form 075/U;

- A copy of an ID card;

- List of scientific and scholarly papers and recommendations, for applicants to the DBA program, if available.

1. With the copies of documents, the original is provided for verification. After verification, the originals are returned.

2. Documents submitted in a foreign language must have a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian. Documents submitted by foreign nationals must be notarized in the prescribed manner.

3. Applicants for the MBA/EMBA programs are interviewed (letters of recommendation carry weight in the interview) and submit an ESSE (motivation letter) on the topic of their choice (at least 1-2 pages):

1.      Essay 1 "Why do you want an MBA? How will this program help you achieve your short-term career goals?

2.      Essay 2.  Describe a personal accomplishment that has particularly impacted your life.

Applicants applying for the DBA program at the first stage provide a detailed essay with answers to the following questions: what motivated the applicant to become an applicant for the program, what business goals and what direction of research is supposed to be chosen, briefly describe their scientific section. The second stage is the interview (letters of recommendation carry weight in the interview).

3.       All graduates of MBS/EMBA programs receive a Diploma Supplement, a diploma of own design and the possibility of obtaining an international double diploma from partner universities of IBS with an academic degree: Master of Business Administration.

4.         All graduates of the DBA program receive a Diploma Supplement, a diploma of their own design and the possibility of obtaining an international double diploma from universities of the IBS partners. The academic degree is awarded: Doctor of Business Administration.
