The International Day of Tourism was celebrated at Esil University

Within the framework of the International Tourism Day, Esil University hosted a forum on the topic "Trends in the development of tourism and hospitality in Kazakhstan".

The forum was attended by Talgat Amanbayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakh Tourism National Company JSC, Aigerim Yesenalieva, Executive Director of the Eurasian Tourism Association, Erik Sultanov, Chairman of the Management Board of Qazaq Geography, heads of leading travel companies, as well as faculty, students of Esil University.

"Within the framework of the memorandum of Esil University with the national company Kazakh Tourism, field trainings, master classes on the organization of domestic tourism and tourism business are held to ensure that students receive relevant knowledge and practical skills. This year, 40 places have been allocated for Esil University students to complete an internship at Kazakh Tourism," said Talgat Amanbayev, Chairman of the Board of the National Kazakh Tourism Company.

Within the framework of the forum, the Master of the Department of "Social Work and Tourism" Asemgul Musabayeva presented a report on "The effectiveness of using Smart City technologies in the development of tourism in Kazakhstan".

And also Kasiyet Sagyndyk, a student of the specialty "Tourism", presented a scientific project on the topic: "Tourist and recreational potential of the Turkestan region and its use in international tourism" (scientific supervisor - PhD, Professor Auezova. Z.T.).
