AN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF ACADEMICIAN G.S. SEITKASIMOV WAS HELD AT ESIL UNIVERSITY.

The annual International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic "Seitkasimov Readings-2023" was held at Esil University, dedicated to the popularization of the scientific heritage of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Economics, Professor, first Rector of the Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade (now Esil University) Gabdygapar Sagitovich Seitkasimov.

More than 150 people took part in the conference, among them professors of Russia and Belarus, prominent public figures, the first heads of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, as well as the first chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Baynazarov Galym Baynazarovich, Doctor of Economics, Professor of L.Gumilyov Iskakova Zagira Duysenbaevna.

At the plenary session, the participants discussed topical issues of conducting an effective financial and credit policy in Kazakhstan, as well as directions for further development of economic sectors, including the financial and banking system. During the conference, a total of 156 reports on topical topics were heard, of which 67 were Kazakh universities, 23 were universities of neighboring countries.

The guests and participants of the event paid tribute to the memory, expressed gratitude to the merits of the scientist and figure in the field of science and higher education, and also shared their warm memories.

In addition, an exhibition of books was organized, which presented the scientific works of G.S. Seitkasimov, such as "Banking", "Money. Credit. Banks", "Accounting and reporting in banks", "Securities and stock market".

It should be noted that the international scientific and practical conference “Seitkasimov readings” is held not for the first time, but for the past 4 years.
